ROOT BEER
Root Beer is a carbonated, sweetened beverage, originally made using the root of a sassafras plant (or the bark of a sassafras tree) as the primary flavor. Root beer has been popularized in North America as a root beer drink and ice cream float. Nicknamed “black cow” or “brown cow”, the root beer float is traditionally made with vanilla ice cream and root beer, but can also be made with other flavors.
